UK Standard Delivery

Items Will be sent either by Royal Mail 1st Class Only (Under £30) or over £30 will be 1st Class Recorded, this can typically take between 2-4 days. UK Standard Delivery is free to the United Kingdom only, for Republic Of Ireland orders international shipping will be chargeable  and the rates can be found below.

For customers ordering items under £30 who wish to upgrade Royal Mail 1st Class delivery to Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded delivery an a charge of £1.49 will be applied when selected. Your order must be placed by 3pm in order to qualify for the item to be shipped the same day (Monday to Friday only).
When placing an order please make sure that you include a valid email address to receive updates of your order, additionally providing a contact number is useful if there is an unforeseen issue with your order (e.g. more address details). All orders placed on a Friday (excluding bank holidays) after 3pm will be processed on the following Monday (excluding bank holidays).


Restricted Delivery On Batteries

As of 14th January 2013 we are no longer permitted to send Lithium batteries by international post (i.e. Airmail). Any orders received for this type of battery to be sent by international post will be cancelled and payment refunded to the customer immediately.

Please Note: We can only accept orders for lithium batteries to be sent to UK Mainland addresses.


Republic Of Ireland Charges


Republic Of Ireland Charges will be charge at the rates below and can take between 2-5 days.

Orders Under £5  - £2.31 Excluding VAT

Orders Over £35 Up To  £50 - £20.50 Excluding VAT
Orders Over £50 Up To £100 - £30.50 Excluding VAT

Who We Use For Delivery

We use Royal Mail, Parcel Force or Interlink Express for the majority of all orders. The method of delivery and the courier used will be emailed to you on dispatch along with a tracking number if available. You can choose any convenient delivery address, but you must arrange for someone to be present to receive and sign for the package on the expected delivery date.

When a parcel cannot be delivered (e.g. no-one at home) you will be notified by the relevant courier with a calling card to arrange for a suitable time for redelivery or collection from the courier's depot. If your parcel is not collected or redelivered within the time frame stated on the calling card (Royal Mail, one week for Recorded Signed For items) then it will be returned to Discount Communications Ltd. Your credit / debit card will then be credited your original total cost less £9.99 which is the full cost of processing a undelivered returned item back to Discount Communications Ltd.

How To Track A Parcel

Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email confirmation that the order is being processed. Once the goods have been dispatched you will receive an email with the selected courier details and a tracking number if available which will allow you to track the status of your delivery. Occasionally parcels are delayed due to poor addressing/sign posting . We may need to give the Courier your telephone number in case they need to contact you regarding the delivery.

What To Do If There Is A Problem With The Delivery

If the parcel does not arrive when expected, then please do not hesitate to give us a call on 0345 130 1321 stating when you placed the web order. We will look into gathering more tracking information and contact the Courier if necessary and call you back to let you know what is happening. If the goods are damaged upon receipt please call us on 0345 130 1321 or e-mail: customerservices@discom.co.uk within 7 days of the delivery.
